Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane say same thing about Rasmus Hojlund at Manchester United
Former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher has agreed with Roy Keane in claiming he feels sorry for Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund.
United performed well to frustrate their hosts on Merseyside. Despite having plenty of possession, Liverpool rarely threatened to break the deadlock and Erik ten Hag's team were good value for a point.
The only negative for United was how they performed going forward. Striker Hojlund was starved of chances with his teammates playing on the counter-attack. His one sight of goal saw him force a good save from Alisson but his wait for a first Premier League goal goes on. Keane has previously admitted he feels sorry for Hojlund, saying he has sympathy for the fact he is trying to get up to speed while battling injury issues.

Speaking after the match on Sky Sports, Carragher also said he felt sorry for the former Atalanta star, though he gave a different reason for feeling sorry for the youngster. "I feel a little bit sorry for him because I feel like this move has come a bit too early for him. It feels like there should’ve been a move in between the one from Atalanta to United," he said.
"At a top club, you don’t get that long - he’s scored in the Champions League of course but he hasn’t done it in the Premier League and I’m just worried that the move has come too soon from him."
Daniel Sturridge also gave his verdict on Hojlund, explaining how his situation differs from Erling Haaland's at Manchester City.
"If you’re playing at a team that’s flying, scoring chances all the time then it’s fine to miss one because you know there’s always going to be that next opportunity," he said.
