Jadon Sancho receives first public message from Manchester United teammate after transfer exit

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has sent a supportive message to Jadon Sancho following his move to Borussia Dortmund this week.

Sancho's switch to the Bundesliga came following a four-month fallout with his manager Erik ten Hag. The problems arose back in September when the Dutchman told the media the winger's performances in training were the reason behind him missing out on a place in the United matchday squad vs Arsenal.

An irate Sancho called out his boss on social media shortly afterwards claiming he had been made a 'scapegoat' at the club. While the post was eventually deleted, the 23-year-old opted not to apologise to Ten Hag and thus an exile from the first team began for the winger.

Unsurprisingly, the Reds were keen to let Sancho leave in the January transfer window and managed to reach an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for a loan move until the end of the campaign. As it became clear the forward would be leaving the club this month, Sancho decided to reactivate his social media accounts.

In the 24 hours since his return to Signal Iduna Park, Sancho has posted several updates on his progress. One such post showed him smiling at the training ground, accompanied with the caption: "Good to be back on the pitch."

Among those to comment on the post was Rashford, who replied: "Yesirrrr." In doing so, the winger seemingly became the first United player to send his public best wishes to Sancho on Instagram.
