Jadon Sancho has four-word response to Man United exit with transfer confirmation close

Jadon Sancho has sent a message of encouragement to Donny van de Beek after the Dutchman's farewell post to Manchester United supporters.

Van de Beek will be leaving United after four years to join La Liga side Girona, as reported earlier this week by MEN Sport, bringing to an end the Dutchman's disappointing spell at Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old arrived at United as one of Europe's hottest prospects but failed to gain regular playing time due to lack of form and injury issues.

From the moment we arrived at Manchester United, we felt extremely welcome and we are grateful for that.

"Thank you to everyone at the club for making us feel at home. A special thanks to all the fans that made these years unforgettable. Besides the football, the birth of our two children here ensures that Manchester will always have a special place in our hearts. Good luck to everybody, we’ll meet again."
