Jack Grealish nearly topples from parade bus during Man City's Premier League celebration

Manchester City winger Jack Grealish nearly suffered a catastrophic accident during the Premier League celebrations on Sunday.

Grealish nearly took a tumble off the open-top bus not once, but twice during their victory parade around Manchester. This celebration marked their fourth consecutive title win, a feat no team has achieved in England before.

The 28-year-old was clearly enjoying the festivities and the bubbly, just a day after City's 2-1 defeat in the FA Cup final by arch-rivals Manchester United. However, the England international had two close calls; the first was when he was dancing on the seats at the back of the bus, mistakenly thinking it was stationary.

He received quite the surprise when the driver accelerated, prompting team-mate Jeremy Doku to grab Grealish's legs and help him down. The second incident occurred later on as Grealish, donning a cap, stood in the same spot alongside teammates Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake.

Both players had to grab Grealish when the bus started moving again to stop him from falling. Despite the rain and Saturday's loss, the players' spirits remained high as they celebrated City's unique achievement.

Grealish, who didn't play against United, even commandeered a TV camera at one point, holding it while he danced. Fans thronged the streets as City made their way from Cathedral Gardens, passing by the National Football Museum, through Exchange Square and down Deansgate, ending the parade outside the Hilton hotel. Some supporters were so keen to engage with the players that they scaled scaffolding.
