This Morning host Cat Deeley interrupted the ITV broadcast to make a huge announcement about Prince Harry, who is currently in a legal battle against Rupert Murdoch News Group Newspaper (NGN).

Cat and her co-host Ben Shephard were sat down with Vanessa Feltz to discuss the latest headlines when the host stopped the schedule to confirm: "News just in, Prince Harry has settled out of court."

The breaking news lands after the Duke of Sussex managed to land on an agreed a settlement with the publisher of The Sun, the High Court has heard.

On Wednesday morning, it was announced that negotiations had concluded after an eleventh-hour battle between Prince Harry and the news outlet.

The Duke's barrister, Davide Sherborne, confirmed: "I am pleased to announce to the court that the parties have reached an agreement."
