ITV This Morning fans complain as woman who went viral in bottomless brunch video talks to Holly and Phil

It appears that some This Morning viewers didn't see the funny side after a woman from a bottomless brunch video that went viral appeared on the show.

Lindsay Clark unwittingly became an internet sensation over the Easter weekend thanks to a video of her getting stuck behind sofa for around 10 minutes was posted on social media. The 40-year-old, from North Shields, was out celebrating the birthday of her friend Julie Jackson with the boozy brunch.

Everything was going well until one of their friend's jackets slipped down behind their seats at the Twelve Twenty Five Restaurant in Newcastle. While attempting to retrieve the item of clothing, Lindsay fell down behind the sofa head-first.

She ended up getting wedged there for around 10 minutes, as restaurant employees rushed to pull her out. The widely-shared video shows two members of staff grabbing hold of one of Lindsay's legs each but struggled to free her.

As she appeared via video link on This Morning, the programme's hosts laughed at the clip and said 'everyone' has been talking about it before asking her about the hilarious incident, while Phil pointing out that someone had suggested the fire brigade was called.

"I said to the [two restaurant staff], 'That's it, get us out now,'" referring to the mention of calling the emergency services. I could not have that, I would have been mortified. That would have been even more embarrassing.'

Speaking about how she felt after the clip went viral, Lindsey replied: "It's just mental. I mean, it is funny, but I didn't realise that it was going to be that funny. I always put stupid things on Facebook...I'm happy it's [gone]
