ITV GMB's Susanna Reid halts interview to make unexpected admission

Susanna Reid made an unexpected admission during one of her interviews on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain.

During the latest instalment, Susanna, 54, Richard Madeley and Richard Arnold caught up with Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, who is currently on the celebrity version of The Traitors in the US.

However, before the interview could go ahead, showbiz presenter Richard, 55, said: "The ever Faithful Chrishell joins us now to have a hair-off with Susanna!"

To which Susanna halted the interview to make an unexpected admission as she admitted: "Yes, I've got proper hair envy!"

This prompted Chrishell to joke: "Oh Susanna, I can give you a number, you can have this hair by tonight!" as Richard quipped: "Just leave it in her dressing room, we'll make sure it's there for tomorrow's show!"

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to react to the chat as one person said: "Chrishell is a goddess! I adore her in #SellingSunset #GMB thanks for mentioning Susanna's hair" while a different account put: "OMG #Crishellestaus on @GMB this morning! First @neighbours now Breakfast TV! Cant get enough of this awesome, beautiful & inspirational woman #GMB."

It comes as Susanna revealed she underwent a hair makeover over the festive period. Susanna returned to Good Morning Britain earlier this month following a lengthy absence.

In early December, Susanna expressed her gratitude to viewers and revealed that she would be stepping away from the show for a substantial holiday hiatus.

However, after a three-week absence, Susanna informed her followers earlier this month that she would be returning to television screens once again.
