ITV Emmerdale's Moira Dingle star reveals 'lots of twists and turns' in heartbreaking plot

Emmerdale's Moira Dingle actress Natalie J Robb has hinted at an array of dramatic developments to unfold on the popular ITV drama.

Moira's character recently endured a tumultuous time after being diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumour, which had caused weeks of worrying symptoms such as personality shifts, aggression, confusion, memory issues, and even seizures.

Although her tumour is benign, the shock diagnosis has thrown Moira into deep concern regarding her life ahead, contemplating surgery and other treatment options that may be necessary.

On Wednesday evening, viewers will witness a special episode dedicated to Moira undergoing the brain surgery and the impact it has on Cain Dingle, portrayed by Jeff Hordley. The focus will also be on Cain's emotional turmoil during this difficult period.

Natalie discussed the emotional storyline during an appearance on Wednesday's This Morning, where she explained: "It's two journeys, first of all you're on Moira's journey and she's the one going through with it physically and emotionally obviously", reports Leeds Live.

She went on to describe the narrative without giving too much away for the viewers still eager to watch: "She goes through to the surgery, obviously I don't want to let too much away to ruin it for people who haven't seen it yet. So you go through her side of the journey and her terrifying experience."
