ITV Emmerdale's Jai Sharma actor lets slip murder twist live on air

Emmerdale fans are in for a shock as Chris Bisson, known for his role as Jai Sharma, hinted at an explosive twist on ITV's Loose Women. The actor spilled the beans during a chat with panellists Jane Moore, Frankie Bridge, Linda Robson and Judi Love, revealing that viewers should brace themselves for a murder mystery coming to the village.

While discussing upcoming storylines with the panel, Chris teased some dramatic developments for his character: "I don't know, you know. I've been a little bit quiet over Christmas but the producers said that bad Jai is back soon."

As the conversation turned towards what makes an exciting role, he conceded that playing the villain can often be more engaging: "It gets a bit boring playing nice all the time, it's not as interesting so I don't really know."

Chris also shared insights into Jai's current predicaments, commenting: "He's been robbed of anything from Caleb - Caleb has taken everything he owns so I suppose he is dangerous now because he's got nothing to lose."

Dropping a bombshell about future scripts, he divulged: "I've just seen a sniff in a couple of scripts I read before the Christmas break that he's on someone's case. Won't surprise you but there is a murder in the village."

Linda's curiosity was piqued as she inquired, "Male or Female?" to which Chris cryptically responded, "Oh I can't possibly tell you anymore. I just read a couple scripts where it looks like Jai is going to be trying to figure out who did it."

In a surprising twist for Emmerdale fans, the iconic character Joe Tate is slated for an unexpected return during a dramatic flash forward sequence - marking his comeback five years after leaving the show, reports Leeds Live.
