ITV Emmerdale reveal huge return after six years as 'Home Farm changed forever'

Emmerdale has dropped a bombshell with the return of a character after a six-year absence, promising an explosive storyline twist.

In the Christmas Eve episode, viewers will be stunned as Joe Tate makes his dramatic comeback to the Dales as he is revealed as the mastermind behind Pete and Will's schemes against Kim Tate.

Ned Porteous is back as his iconic character Joe, whose unexpected return is set to cause turmoil not just at Home Farm but throughout the village. Despite being last spotted in 2018, Joe's presence now hints at plenty of drama on the ITV soap.

Meanwhile, producer Laura Shaw expressed excitement about the return of the character to the show, stating: "We are thrilled to welcome Ned back to Village as the complex and captivating Joe Tate. From the moment Joe arrives on screen, it's
