ITV Emmerdale fans 'creeped out' as Tom King could target new victim after Piper's death

Emmerdale viewers are concerned for Gabby Thomas (played by Rosie Bentham) after Tom King (James Chase) attempted to flirt with her at The Woolpack. Tom has escalated his abuse towards his wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) this week, culminating in the shocking murder of their dog Piper.

After running over the dog, Tom, a vet, claimed he had done 'everything he could' to save Piper, leaving Belle heartbroken. Tom used Piper's death to regain emotional control over Belle following her announcement that she wanted to separate from him due to his violent behaviour.

However, Belle seems to have seen through Tom's act and accused him of causing her injuries, reports the Express. During Tuesday's episode (August 20), Belle suspected Tom was responsible for Piper's death and spoke about his abuse as they buried the dog.

Meanwhile, Gabby and her romantic interest Vinny Dingle, played by Bradley Johnson, continued to bond as they planned to have a drink at the pub.

After securing an investment from Laurel Thomas, played by Charlotte Bellamy, in The Hide, Gabby celebrated with a bottle of champagne. But when she ordered her drink, Tom was also at the bar and tried to flirt with her.

Tom showered Gabby with comments and suggested he was interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with her. However, Gabby rebuffed him before passionately kissing Vinny, making it clear she was not interested in Tom's advances.

Emmerdale enthusiasts are expressing concern that Gabby might become Tom's next target for abuse. One fan posted on social media: "So Tom wants Gaby as his next victim? That just came over as creepy and just wrong. #Emmerdale."

Another viewer was appalled, commenting: "Tom hitting on Gabby, disgusting human #Emmerdale."
