ITV Emmerdale regular sacked after harrowing abuse revelations come to light

An Emmerdale villager is set to lose their job, following heartbreaking abuse revelations.

Soap baddie Tom King (James Chase) has been abusing and gaslighting his wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) for months. She has since ended their marriage after realising his true colours, and recently went to the police.

Tom has shown no signs of letting her go though, resorting to desperate measures, including setting up cameras inside her house and installing software on her laptop giving him access to everything she looks at.

What’s more, the sicko also reached a new low when he appeared to murder her dog Piper - leaving Belle devastated. And in recent episodes, it was revealed that Tom is now dating Amelia (Daisy Campbell) - leaving Belle horrified and scared for the youngster.

However, last week, Belle revealed the truth about Tom’s abuse to Charity (Emma Atkins). Later on, emotions were at an all-time high as Charity told Belle’s brother Cain (Jeff Hordley) the painful ordeal Belle had endured at the hands of her estranged husband, Tom.

Sharing certain details, Charity told Cain that Belle had been physically and mentally abused by Tom and no one was able to detect it. Fuelled with rage, Cain wanted to deal with Tom there and then.

But under strict instruction from Belle, Charity begged him not to. At the end of the show, Cain bumped into Tom on Main Street and no words were exchanged. But with the sudden wave of hostility, Tom suspected something wasn't right.

And this week, word spreads around the famous village about Tom’s evil crimes. Knowing that the Dingles are onto him, Tom embarks on a desperate cover-up, hiding the evidence of his stalking.

Later on, however, the truth about Tom spreads around the village.
