ITV Dancing on Ice's Oti Mabuse says 'never again' after being left in 'shock and disbelief'

Oti Mabuse has told fans 'never again' as she continues to adjust to life as a first-time mum. The Dancing on Ice judge recently opened up about her daughter's arrival into the world after she arrived weeks early.

Oti and her husband Marius Lepure welcomed their first child into the world prematurely in October. It wasn't until Christmas Day that the couple announced Oti had given birth, sharing a sweet picture to Instagram of the pair in matching festive pyjamas while cradling their newborn.

Discussing the difficult birth, Oti, who developed sepsis meaning her daughter - who was born two months early - was at risk of being infected when she was born, recently said on This Morning: "She was in the NICU for about six weeks, she came two months early, which was totally unexpected.

"And actually I gave birth at the UCLH, it was so amazing the NHS and I've said this so many times. I don't usually get sick so I'm never usually in hospital and so I never really have to use the NHS that much but then I really needed them and they were incredible. We were taken care of so much."

She went on to add that she initially did not want to go public about her ordeal. "The whole process, to go through it was something really traumatising and I didn't really talk about it," she admitted. "I didn't say anything for about nine, 10 weeks because first of all I wanted time with her and my husband, we just wanted to be a family."
