Manchester United player ratings vs Leicester City as Joshua Zirkzee good but two 3/10s
Manchester United are through to the fifth round of the FA Cup after a 2-1 win over Leicester City.
The Foxes took the lead just before half time as Andre Onana repelled Wilfred Ndidi’s effort but Bobby De Cordova-Reid was on hand to head home the rebound from close range.
Joshua Zirkzee tapped into an empty net just minutes after coming off the bench before Harry Maguire scored in the last minute to win it for United.
Here are how the players rated at Old Trafford:
Andre Onana
Couldn't stop De Cordova-Reid's close-range goal after repelling Ndidi's strike. Had little else to do. 6
Leny Yoro
Leicester got down Yoro's side to make it 1-0 and he switched with Noussair Mazraoui for the second half. Played some loose passes. 5
Harry Maguire
Left Ndidi unattended for the equaliser on one of the few occasions United had to properly defend. United didn't maximise his distribution. Then he won it. 7
Noussair Mazraoui
Back in the back three and a downgrade on Lisandro Martinez. Offered next-to-nothing in an attacking capacity but made a big tackle on Bilal El Khannouss. 6
Diogo Dalot
Surprisingly lined up on the left, despite the arrival of a left-footer in Patrick Dorgu. Dreadful in the first half but improved in the second and played Alejandro Garnacho in for a great chance. 5
Manuel Ugarte
Lost the ball for the opening goal and never really got going all night as United's midfield failed to assume control once again. Could have been sent off for a dangerous tackle. 4
Bruno Fernandes
Failed to lift United's performance level and one corner turned attack into defence only for Mazraoui to bail him out. Played so badly of course he got an assist for the winner. 6
Patrick Dorgu
The left back started on the right
