ITV Dancing on Ice contestant says 'it's fine' as she issues response to being first celeb eliminated

Dancing on Ice returned with a brand new episode on Sunday night, 19 January, and the first contestant was eliminated after a shock twist.

Usually, the two celebs in the lowest position have a 'skate-off', but this year that was scrapped and the first contestant to be eliminated was the pair with the lowest score - made up of judge scoring and public votes.

Soap star Chelsee Healey, known best for playing Goldie in Hollyoaks, was the first contestant to leave ITV Dancing on Ice 2025..

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern announced the results and Chelsee responded: “It's fine," as it sounded like she held back tears.

Holly said: "I think everyone is shocked actually to see you in this position.", and Chelsee replied: "Personally there's been a lot going on with me that I've been struggling with so I couldn't focus, but I'm just really grateful."

Fans of the hit ITV competition were shocked to see her go too and expressed their upset on social media.

@jess_jonesxxx said: "What a joke!", and @sasha_ddm added: "CHELSEE GONE?! Are you joking".
