Coronation Street star unrecognisable as she reunites with Michelle Keegan for new role
Former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley looked unrecognisable as she gave a glimpse at her next role, for which she has reunited with Michelle Keegan.
Fans will probably best know the actress for playing Eva Price in the ITV soap. She announced she was leaving the long-running show in December 2017 and her final scenes aired in August 2018, having played Eva, the younger half-sister of Leanne Battersby, for seven years.
Now, Catherine can be seen starring in Channel 5’s The Good Ship Murder, where she plays First Officer Kate Wood, but after filming on a cruise ship for the series, also starring former Corrie star Shayne Ward, the ex-soap star is now back on home turf filming something much closer to home.
Taking to Instagram, Catherine seemingly confirmed she's set to star in the upcoming seventh and final series of Sky Comedy, Brassic, which stars Michelle, who shot to fame playing Tina McIntyre.
Catherine looked completely different as she sported a long black wig with tattoos on her neck and hands. In the snaps, she beamed alongside Michelle, who is known for playing Erin Croft in the series, as well as others who work on the show.
Captioning the post, the mum-of-two wrote: "Having a blast with gorgeous people. Soooooo good to see this gorgeous momma again @michkeegan [red heart emojis]. An incredible team . Nice to be on home turf for a bit with this talented bunch!"
Another former Corrie star Helen Flanagan was quick to respond to the post with a string of love heart eyes emojis before adding: "Gorge girls," while former Emmerdale actress Natalie Anderson gushed: "Awwww beauties!!!!"
Fans were also excited by the update. @seanward3738 said: "Only realised it was you after 2nd photo!…wow! You in
