ITV Coronation Street viewers left distracted by Sean Tully's 'awful' habit

Coronation Street fans were left distracted earlier this week as Sean Tully headed on a romantic date with newcomer Laurence. The barman and Underworld machinist met the handsome dentist as he helped out Todd Grimshaw at a funeral in scenes aired on the ITV soap.

Laurence was one of the mourners at Mr Pugh's funeral which was saved by George Shuttleworth's sister Glenda after her brother took too many strong painkillers after breaking a tooth on one of Sean's dinners. Both Todd and Sean appeared interested in the newbie but neither made a move.

Later, Sean was left moping around after missing out on his chance to ask Laurence out for a drink.
