ITV Coronation Street fans stunned by character's sudden 'change' as they say he 'doesn't play'

Coronation Street fans have been left stunned over Sean Tully's 'sudden' change during the latest trip to Weatherfield. Viewers of the ITV soap have seen the character, played by Antony Cotton, have a tricky years so far on the cobbles thanks to his son.

Sean was horrified and refused to believe Dylan Wilson was capable of bullying his friend Liam Connor. However, the truth about Dylan's involvement in the cruel torment of Liam soon came to light, with Mason Radcliffe the clear ring leader in Liam's bullying hell.

It was during one of his horrific bullying sessions that Mason pulled a knife on the terrified teen. Later, Mason was sent to the Young Offenders facility for being in possession of a knife - and not for the first time.

But the nasty character has since been released and returned to Weatherfield, where Stu Carpenter has taken him under his wing and even given him a job at Speed Daal.

During Friday night's (August 9) Corrie, with Dylan’s fear of Mason evident, Sean resolved to sort it out and barged into Speed Dahl to confront Stu and Yasmeen Nazir. He railed at them over their decision to help Mason in the middle of the restaurant.

After his tirade, Stu asked Sean: "Are you done?" but Sean vowed: "I'm just getting started!" before he and Dylan left leaving Stu to think over his decision.

But it was Sean's outburst that came as a shock to Corrie fans as they took to social media to comment. @sophieredmondxx1 said: "I was shocked never seen Sean shout so much before." @carolberner commented: "Never seen Sean be so angry before." @frey_yass_queen
