Coronation Street Rowan's exit 'sealed' as fans predict icon will finally tear apart The Institute

Coronation Street viewers are convinced Rowan Cunliffe (played by Emrhys Cooper) is set to exit Weatherfield as Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) is expected to expose The Institute. Leader of the well-being 'cult' Rowan has been trying to squeeze cash from Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) claiming she could successfully invest her savings into a new resource centre.

The self-improvement group has already claimed Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) as a dedicated member which has come between her relationship with partner Nick Tilsley (Ben Price). But during Friday's episode of the ITV soap (August 23), Rowan managed to convince Amy to quit her job at the bistro, leaving Nick annoyed.

Deceitfully, Rowan told Amy she could earn a lot of money by investing in The Institute rather than cleaning tables for a living. Amy has previously contemplated using the inheritance she received from her grandmother Deidre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride) to plough into the cause.

Fortunately, her friend Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) persuaded her not to gamble all her savings and to probe Rowan further about how she would recoup her investment and any potential profit. Despite Aadi's warning not to trust him, Amy remained confident in Leanne's judgement.

However, in the forthcoming scenes, Rowan shows no signs of backing down on his plan to take Amy's money, In next week's episodes, Leanne approaches Rowan who informs her that Amy is undergoing an 'upload' and is also reconsidering investing in the resource centre.

Rowan encourages Leanne to persuade her partner Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) to do the same. During Amy's upload session, Leanne urges her to confront her past trauma to eliminate the negativity. However, as Amy opens up, Leanne is taken aback to discover that
