'It's a childhood dream': Canada's Jack Crawford wins super-G world title
Canada's Jack Crawford is an alpine skiing world champion.
The Toronto native raced his way to the super-G title in Courchevel Méribel, France, on Thursday, edging Norway's Aleksander Aamodt Kilde by one one-hundredth of a second.
Crawford said in an interview after the race that winning a world title "was a childhood dream."
It's the 15th time a Canadian has won an alpine skiing world title.
More to come.
