Isthmian League round-up: Folkestone Invicta up to third, Chatham win at Wingate, Joe Taylor scores against Ramsgate, Dartford hit back to salvage point

Unbeaten Folkestone Invicta are up to third in Isthmian Premier.

Jay Saunders handed new signing Joe Pigott a full debut but it was strike partner Ade Yusuff who struck twice in a 4-1 home win over Whitehawk at Margate.

Yusuff had already scored the opener by the time on-loan Ebbsfleet midfielder Maxx Manktelow made it 2-0 inside nine minutes with a terrific finish from 20 yards.

Yusuff added a third on the stroke of half-time from the penalty spot and Donell Thomas made it 4-0 just past the hour mark.

Charlie Lambert immediately pulled one back from the penalty spot while Folkestone know it could have been more as they had two goals ruled out, including one from Pigott.

Chatham are up to fifth after an impressive 3-0 win at Wingate & Finchley.

Kian Moynes puts Chats ahead inside two minutes before Sam Sene-Richardson set-up Tope Fadahunsi for the second midway through the first half.

Sene-Richardson then turned goalscorer to make it 3-0 on the hour mark while Wingate finished with 10 men after Rhamar Garrett-Douglas was sent-off late on.

There was a sense of inevitability as former Ramsgate striker Joe Taylor opened his Billericay account against his former club.

Ramsgate let a two-goal lead slip as it finished 2-2 in Essex. Alfie Paxman gave the visitors an early lead after exchanging passes with Ryan Kingsford and Mitchell May’s rocket on the hour doubled their advantage.

However, substitute Taylor pulled one back with 20 minutes left and Ryan Scott levelled it up in the last minute.

Two goals in the last 15 minutes saw Cray Wanderers hit back to salvage a point at Lewes.

Arezki Harnouchene and Finlay Chadwick put Lewes in charge after 33 minutes but Kaan Bennett saw red for the hosts just past the hour mark.
