Is this the most boring five-day weather forecast Manchester has ever seen?
If for some reason you like your weather dull, grey and moody, you're in for a real treat this week. According to the latest Met Office forecast, Greater Manchester could see almost the same weather conditions for every hour of every day this week.
Following on from a grey weekend, more overcast weather is forecast from Monday (November 4) through to Saturday morning. As of Monday morning, the Met Office is forecasting overcast conditions for every Greater Manchester borough throughout that period.
The only slight variation is for mist in the early hours of Wednesday morning, which will last longer in some parts of the region than others. Sadly, no autumnal sunshine is expected in the coming days, with overcast weather forecast every day and night until the weekend, in all 10 Greater Manchester boroughs.

No rain is currently forecast by the Met Office either. Temperatures will be mild throughout the week and above average for November - with highs of 11C on Monday, 13C on Tuesday, 14C on Wednesday, 13C on Thursday and 12C on Friday.
Conditions won't cool much overnight either. The Met Office is forecasting lows of 9C and 10C during the week in Manchester, with the coolest temperatures being 7C in Oldham on both Thursday and Friday night.
There is expected to be a change in the weather on Saturday and Sunday - but not by much. According to the Met Office, 'overcast' conditions will make way for 'cloudy' ones, meaning the weekend should be slightly brighter.
Both Saturday and Sunday are currently forecast for highs of 15C in Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Trafford and Wigan. The region could see lows of 9C or 10C over the weekend.
