Ireland's WXV3 fixtures confirmed

Ireland Women will begin a new era under head coach Scott Bemand against Kazakhstan on 13 October in the first of their WXV3 fixtures in Dubai.

Ireland, who appointed former England coach Bemand last month as a replacement for Greg McWilliams, will face Colombia on the second weekend of action and will round out the tournament against Spain on 28 October.

All of Ireland's games will be played at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai.

The team that finishes top of the division, which also includes Fiji and Kenya, will be promoted to WXV2 for next season.

The new women's international 15s competition is designed to increase the competitiveness, reach and impact of elite women's rugby.

The three-level tournament, which begins this October, will see 27 fixtures played across three host countries bringing the best women’s talent around the world.
