Inter 0-2 Liverpool: Firmino scores brilliant header in Champions League tie
Liverpool beat Inter Milan in their Champions League last-16 first leg tie at the San Siro on Wednesday evening.
The first half was a largely unentertaining one.
Inter came closest to breaking the deadlock with Hakan Çalhanoğlu striking the upright.
That proved to be the only real chance of the opening 45 minutes as the two sides went into the break all-square.
Jurgen Klopp decided to switch things up at half-time as he replaced Diogo Jota with Roberto Firmino.
And Firmino would prove to be the hero as he scored the opener for the Reds.
Liverpool were given a corner in the 75th minute. Andy Robertson swung the set-piece in and Firmino produced a quite phenomenal header which found the corner.
