Ian Wright names two changes Manchester United have to make after Arsenal defeat

Ian Wright has advised Manchester United to make one change in midfield and recall Argentina winger Alejandro Garnacho immediately to make the most of their attacking style.

Garnacho enjoyed a lively cameo during the Arsenal game and, had things turned out differently, the highly-rated teenager might have won it for United. He saw a late strike ruled out for offside by VAR as Arsenal promptly went up the other end to snatch all three points at the Emirates Stadium.

Goals from Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus settled the scores. Marcus Rashford put United 1-0 up with a trademark finish on the transition.

Rashford was assisted by pinpoint Christian Eriksen for that opener. However, former Arsenal man Wright reckons another alteration is needed in the engine room.

Analysing the game for Premier League Productions, the pundit said: "I think Garnacho is a positive. I think they've got to find some way of getting a midfielder in their team who can get on the ball, control it and then use the pace of Rashford and use the pace of Garnacho.

"Manchester United have got the kind of players [to attack more]. We saw it with Garnacho, who I cannot believe does not start in front of someone like Antony."

Wright continued: "He [Garnacho] can come on in that game and, even if you're playing that style of football, then he's surely going to be better than what Antony is giving you at this particular moment? We saw that even in the little cameo there [he had].
