Ian Maatsen pens message to Coventry City supporters ahead of his return to Chelsea

Ian Maatsen has taken to Instagram to thank Coventry City’s fans for the support that they have provided during his loan spell at the club.

The full-back is set to return to Chelsea when his temporary stint at the Coventry Building Society Arena officially expires at the end of May.

During his time with the Sky Blues, Maatsen managed to make considerable strides in terms of his development as he featured regularly for the club in the Championship.

The Dutchman posted: “I want to thank everyone at @coventrycityofficial, the players, staff and the fans have made me feel great and helped me develop as a player.

“I am very grateful and appreciate for every minute being here!

“Thank you.”
