'I was born without a womb - I dream of having children of my own'

A young woman who was born without a womb has spoken of her dream to have children of her own via a surrogate.

Hannah Vaughan was just 16 when she was diagnosed with the rare congenital disorder named Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome, CheshireLive reports. The disorder, which means you are born with an undeveloped womb, affects around one in 5,000 women.

Hannah met partner Luke while studying at university. The pair have now been together for three years and live together in Tarporley in Cheshire.

"We’re ready to go through the IVF process," says Hannah. "I wanted to go through some tests initially to make sure that when we were ready, there were no hurdles.

"Unfortunately, through those tests I was told I had low ovarian reserves, which
