I spotted Man United moment that proves Marcus Rashford's season is just getting started vs Twente

Manchester United's start to their Europa League campaign didn't quite go to plan on Wednesday night. Erik ten Hag's men failed to make the most of their superior quality and were held to a 1-1 draw.

Christian Eriksen was the man for the action with a goal in the first-half and mistake for Twente's goal. The midfielder's turn in his own half allowed Sam Lammers to capitalise and strike past Andre Onana after the Dane's thunderbolt had excellently put his side in the lead.

Frustrations grew in Old Trafford as United threw everything for a winner. Goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall was the hero for Twente with a brilliant reaction save in the latter stages.

The game at Old Trafford was not only special for Ten Hag but for former United assistant manager Steve McClaren. The 63-year-old left the Red Devils in the summer to return to management as the national coach of Jamaica.

McClaren spent two seasons with Ten Hag after previously working with Sir Alex Ferguson at United. However, he also enjoyed a successful spell with Twente in 2008. In his second season at the Dutch giants, McClaren won the club their first-ever Eredivisie title, becoming the first Englishman to manage a team to a top-level domestic league title since Bobby Robson.
