Hull KR set to recall Lachlan Coote and Albert Vete for Wakefield Trinity clash

Tony Smith could welcome a string of first-teamers back into his squad for Saturday's clash with Wakefield Trinity. Smith has recalled Lachlan Coote and Albert Vete to the 21-man squad in what will be his first game since confirming he will leave Rovers at the end of the season.

The duo replace Matt Parcell and Will Dagger in the squad. Parcell suffered a broken nose in the win over Toulouse Olympique on Easter Monday, while Dagger had strapping on his ankle as he left the stadium.

Brad Takairangi, Will Maher and Kane Linnett, who all didn't feature despite being named in the 21-man squad for the trip to France, all remain in the squad and are in contention to play. Takairangi was the 18th man in France but wasn't given the nod, with Sam Wood operating at back-row instead.

Coote was rested after his man of the match performance against Hull FC, with Smith confirming it was a decision made with his recent hamstring injury in mind. Meanwhile, Vete hasn't featured in over a month after suffering a calf injury in the defeat to Catalans in March.
