Hull KR boss Tony Smith addresses 'dreadful' display and admits to failed Kane Linnett risk

Hull KR boss Tony Smith has provided an injury update and verdict on his side's disappointing 25-4 Challenge Cup semi-final defeat to Huddersfield. The Robins boss saw his side stutter to defeat as their attack misfired once again, resulting int a resounding defeat at the hands of the Giants.

The Rovers boss stated that his side wasn't clinical enough and found it hard to break Huddersfield down, which resulted in plenty of errors to make matters worse.

"I thought our first 10 mins was dreadful," Smith said. "We talked about building the game, and all we did was over push and overplay. So it was disappointing for sure.

There was also bad news on the injury front as Kane Linnett only featured for 15 minutes, as Smith reported the update many people expected.
