Ranking every Hull KR signing made during the Tony Smith era featuring bargain buys and overseas disappointments

Hull KR coach Tony Smith has recruited heavily throughout his time at the helm, with only three players in Ben Crooks, Will Dagger and Jimmy Keinhorst still at the club from the side who was named for Smith's first victory for the club over his former side Warrington in June 2019.

The Rovers boss has thoroughly changed the personnel at the club, with the current crop of signings being some of the most influential acquisitions that Smith has brought in.

Mudoti was one of the five players Tony Smith brought over from Bradford after the club paid a substantial fee for their services. However, Mudoti's time at the club was a difficult one, with the prop-forward never featuring for the Robins during his stay.

The former Leeds Rhinos man joined Hull KR during the peak of Covid-19. Peteru was brought in to fill the gap left by Mose Masoe but was ultimately making up the numbers in a pointless season before joining Leigh Centurions in 2021.

After impressing during the latter stages of 2019 whilst on a short-term deal, Trout was rewarded with an extension into 2020. The prop forward couldn't emulate his form into 2020 and was released by the club after a difficult campaign.

The former Hull FC man joined Rovers from Toronto Wolfpack after scoring 27 tries in 34 appearances for the Canadian outfit. However, the outside-back only featured six times for the club over the year, which saw his contract mutually terminated a year earlier than its expiration date.
