Hull FC talking points: Brutal defeat, merciless Wigan and getting bodies back

A Hull FC side down to their bare bones were completely outclassed as a merciless Wigan Warriors outfit ran out 60-0 winners on Friday night.

Australian winger Bevan French set a new Super League record with a staggering seven tries, with the Warriors coasting to an 11-try win. Here are the talking points.

It sounds absolutely mental, and I get that people will take one look at that result and laugh this off, but the effort was there. That was a sheer effort thing in literally no time at all and that's why the side got the boot thrown at them. However, this was solely based on who Hull had missing. They’re not excuses.
