Hull City ace joins Nottingham Forest and Fulham stars in being rewarded for great form
Brandon Fleming has been recognised for what was a terrific personal showing during March, after being named in the Championship Team of the Month. The Hull City full-back was only handed a first league start in January following the arrival of Shota Arvelazde, but quickly made his presence felt.
Fleming was selected as the league’s top-performing left-back by the EFL’s official stats partner WhoScored.com for the second successive month after clocking up a hugely respectable 7.17 during his three games against West Brom, Birmingham City and Coventry City – he missed the defeat at home to Luton Town last Saturday after picking up a knock at the CBS Arena.
March was a mixed bag on the whole for the Tigers, unbeaten away from home in their two outings but their home struggles continued losing to Steve Bruce on his return to the MKM Stadium and that 3-1 drubbing by the play-off chasing Hatters.

“Hull youngster Brandon Fleming rounds off the backline having returned a WhoScored.com rating of 7.17 in March. The 22-year-old was solid off the ball having made 12 tackles and interceptions combined for the Tigers to reinforce statistically calculated strengths of 'tackling' and 'ball interception' to feature,” it said.
Fleming is expected to return to the fold on Friday night when Championship action returns with a home clash in front of the television cameras against Huddersfield Town, who know that should they secure a league double over the Tigers, they would move second for a few hours at least.
