Hull City player ratings vs Cardiff City: Allahyar shines in crucial victory

Two goals in three first half minutes saw Hull City win for the first time at the MKM Stadium in seven attempts, beating Cardiff City 2-0 on Good Friday. Allahyar's goal after eight minutes on his full home debut set the ball rolling for the Tigers, before Lewie Coyle made it two shortly after.

Richie Smallwood: Almost the same as last week, won it, shifted it and did the ugly side of the game with little to no fuss. 7/10

Regan Slater: Calmly set-up Coyle's goal in the first half, and when needed to, showed good composure in the middle of the park alongside Smallwood. 7/10

George Honeyman: Involved in everything early on and that theme continued throughout, knitting everything
