Huddersfield Town transfer update revealed on AFC Bournemouth man

Huddersfield Town are not interested in recruiting AFC Bournemouth wide player Robbie Brady this summer despite being linked with a move for him, according to Yorkshire Live.

The 30-year-old is currently engaging in negotiations with officials at the Vitality Stadium regarding fresh terms with his contract on the south coast expiring this summer, even though he only arrived last October.

This may come as a surprise to some considering he only made seven appearances in all competitions for the Cherries during their promotion-winning 2021/22 campaign, failing to make a real impact for Scott Parker’s side ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Despite this, they are seemingly interested in retaining his services and may have a fight on their hands in their quest to keep him at the Vitality, with TEAMtalk reporting that Burnley, Huddersfield Town, Hull City, Middlesbrough, Norwich City and Sunderland are all interested in recruiting him.

One side that seemingly won’t be taking him away from the south coast though is Huddersfield, with Yorkshire Live reporting that Carlos Corberan’s men are currently not in the race to secure his services.

Able to play at left-back and in a more advanced position, he would have been a perfect backup for Harry Toffolo who was a very important figure for Corberan’s men last
