How Man City should line up vs RB Leipzig in Champions League
Pep Guardiola could make changes when Manchester City take on RB Leipzig in the Champions League this week.
City just need a point against Leipzig to confirm their place as group winners, having already booked their place in the last-16. Leipzig have also qualified, and must beat City to have a chance of overtaking the Blues into first.
In normal circumstances, Guardiola would use a game of this nature to rotate, however options were thin on the bench in the draw against Liverpool, and John Stones still needs time to fully recover from injury. Jack Grealish was ill against Liverpool but could return, while Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes were injured alongside Kevin De Bruyne.

Injuries mean there isn't much scope to make changes, but Guardiola has already said Rico Lewis will play. That seems to be in the John Stones role that Manu Akanji has trialled in the Premier League, so it makes sense for Lewis to come in for Akanji.
Josko Gvardiol talked a good game before the press conference and deserves another start against his former club. Kyle Walker has played plenty this season and can take a rest if Lewis plays on the right and Nathan Ake moves inside.
Julian Alvarez is due a rest after looking tired in the Liverpool game, and it is a strong enough team that Oscar Bobb can come into the side to see what he can do against strong opposition. Other than that, with no new faces it seems likely that it will be the same players that took on Liverpool.
