How Man City should line up vs Everton in Premier League fixture

Manchester City will be going in search of a 10th successive victory in all competitions when they welcome Everton to the Etihad Stadium this lunchtime.

City, who came from behind to beat the Toffees 3-1 at Goodison Park in December, moved to within two points of the Premier League summit with a 3-1 win against Brentford on Monday night. After falling a goal behind, Phil Foden netted a hat-trick to move Pep Guardiola's side to within touching distance of Liverpool.

Playing first this weekend means City will take up residency at the top of the pile for an hour or two at the very least with three points. Liverpool face Burnley at 3pm on Saturday while Arsenal travel to London counterparts West Ham United on Sunday.

City manager Pep Guardiola is poised to have a full-strength squad to pick from, failing to report any new injury issues at his press conference on Friday. However, the likes of John Stones, Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku will be hoping to force their way back into the starting XI.

Putting Stones back into the defence needs a change at the back, but City need to keep their momentum and too many different faces could affect that.
