Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal side have impressed for the majority of this Premier League season, with the Gunners currently sat in fourth and in the driving seat for a top four finish. It puts the side three points clear of close rivals Tottenham, who occupy fifth, with one game in hand over the Lilywhites.
However, the race is far from over as the Spaniard will have to navigate his side through the remaining fixtures to secure a place in next season’s Champions League. Among those fixtures are games against Manchester United, Chelsea, West Ham and Tottenham, making for a tough schedule to end the season.
This means that the Gunners will be hoping for a quick start back from the international break, with Crystal Palace, Brighton and Southampton in their next three. All of those fixtures present opportunities at three points, but they won’t come as easy as some expect.
