Horse racing results LIVE plus tips and best bets for Chepstow, Huntingdon and Sedgefield

The memories of Cheltenham Festival are fading and it's all systems go for the Grand National at Aintree.

The Scottish National takes place at Ayr before that and we'll be building up to next month's action every day.

Join us today for 20 competitive National Hunt races. The first of a trio of meetings is due to get underway at 1:00 at Huntingdon, where the ground is officially described as good, good to soft in places.

The featured event there is the Class 3 Racing TV Handicap Hurdle, which comes up at 3:10.

Just four are set to go to post for a first prize of over £11,000, with Kim Bailey-trained course and distance winner Ajero looking to hold solid claims. There are six races on the card, through until 3:40.

It’s good, good to soft in places at Chepstow, where they’ll be off for the first of seven races at 1:55.

The pick of the action at the Welsh track looks to be the Roofbase Handicap Chase (3:31). The £9,803 first prize has drawn a double-figure field, with Charlie Longsdon-trained Just Your Type the overnight market leader.

There’s also some interesting fayre on offer at Sedgefield. The going there is good, and the first of seven races is due to start at 2:12.

The County Durham track doesn’t have too many Class 2 races on its calendar, so the WF-Racing Keeping You On Course Handicap Hurdle (3:17) is very much the feature.

Just a handful will compete for a prize just shy of £10,000, including last year’s winner Ashington. Brian Ellison’s gelding showed signs of a return to form last time and he bids for a repeat success from a 2lb lower mark.

We'll be there for every furlong and you can follow the action in our LIVE blog with all the hot tips from our man Garry Owen, latest news and gossip.
