Homobloc confirms 2023 party with The Blessed Madonna, Peaches and new rooftop disco

Homobloc will return for 2023 at the Depot Mayfield for its fourth year on November 4, it’s been confirmed, with an all-star lineup now released including The Blessed Madonna and electro-clash icon Peaches.

The ‘queer block party for all’ will also feature Mercury Prize-nominated Jessie Ware, Australian electro band Confidence Man, house legend David Morales, Prosumer, Todd Edwards, Romy and SHERELLE.

Meanwhile, London’s Horse Meat Disco will be taking over the rooftop space of Mayfield, with a host of programming from cinema screenings, in-session podcasts, talks and acoustic performances to pop-up shops.

Manchester’s homegrown scene will also be widely represented with Homoelectric residents Gina Breeze, Jamie Bull and Will Tramp, along with Kath McDermott, DJ Paulette, Supernature, Veba and Your Dad Sells Avon.

As ever, performance and dance will be central to the event, with the likes of Ghetto Fabulous, Creatures by Beau Azra, Mischief by Banksie and Strutty Bitch on board, along with newcomers like The Cavalcade and Drag Kings Of Manc.
