Home Bargains has gone Grinch and gonk crazy as stock flies in for Christmas

Whether you like the run-up to Christmas or not, it's hard to escape it at this time of year.

With supermarkets already filling their shelves with mince pies and Quality Streets, t'is the season when many shoppers like to start stocking up on treats.

One shop in particular that sends folk into somewhat of a festive frenzy is Home Bargains.

A trip to the huge Middlebrook store in Bolton this week confirmed that Christmas shopping has well and truly begun.

The aisles are packed out with all kinds of decorations and treats.

It's big on themes and its Grinch range - which boasts one of the largest Grinch product selections in the UK - is always a massive hit.

It features everything from stockings and bedding to cosy socks and those sought-after matching Christmas pyjamas. The Snuggle Hoodies, priced £15 for adults and £10 for kids, are likely to be popular as families look for ways to keep warm as the cold weather comes.
