Hojlund, Shaw, Varane, Mount - Manchester United round-up and return dates vs Arsenal

Manchester United have several injury problems to contend with for the meeting against long-standing Premier League rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm).

Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia - who has not featured for United this season - are expected to be missing for several weeks with £60million signing Mason Mount also on their treatment table right now. However, there is one positive in that another summer recruit - Rasmus Hojlund - will finally be available.

Hojlund, 20, has been nursing a back injury picked up before his £72m transfer, but there is brighter news for him after being deemed fit enough to be selected in the Denmark squad for next month's international break. Erik ten Hag spoke about Hojlund, and others, during his pre-match press conference.

Here's our latest round-up from the physio room at Carrington as United switch focus to the Arsenal game.
