Hojlund, Maguire, Mount - Manchester United injury news and return dates vs Liverpool
Manchester United are expecting to have Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund available for their FA Cup quarter-final tie with Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon (3.30pm). Both teams have been hit harder than most when it comes to injuries this season, but there appears to be some respite for United on that front.
During his pre-match press conference, Erik ten Hag provided encouraging updates on Hojlund, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, while Mason Mount has also stepped up his recovery from a calf problem. The showdown with Liverpool might come too soon for him, but United are set for a selection boost regardless.
Ten Hag and his backroom staff had to check up on as many as 11 players for the Liverpool match as the two arch-rivals go head-to-head for a ticket to Wembley. Here's our latest round-up from the treatment table at Carrington;
