Amazon fans snapping up huge bulk boxes of Cadbury Creme Eggs cheaper than Tesco, ASDA and Morrisons

As Easter inches closer and closer, now is probably the best time to stock your cupboards with some of your family's favourite chocolate before they fly off the (virtual) shelves. The most quintessential Easter sweet treat is undeniably a Cadbury Creme Egg, which has been around for the best part of 60 years.

If you need more than a handful of Creme Eggs for any egg hunt or spring event you have planned or just want to stock up before they disappear for another year, you may want to check out Amazon. Shoppers can pick up 48 of the little chocolaty goodness for less than £22, as the Wales Online reports. The box typically retails for £23.05 but has been slashed to £21.36, for a limited time.

That makes each Creme Egg just 45p, cheaper than at Tesco, Asda and Morrisons. Shoppers can pick up them up for 50p each at Tesco and Asda or for 75p at Morrisons, which would make each chocolate egg 30p more expensive which adds up to a difference of £14.40.

The bulk box is an incredibly popular choice on Amazon, selling over 10,000 of them in the past month. The box has racked up an impressive and near-perfect average star-rating of 4.8 out of five from 17,956 reviews.
