Varane, Lindelof, Shaw - Manchester United injury news and return dates ahead of Chelsea
Manchester United welcomed three injured players back into the fold against Brentford on Saturday evening but now have two new concerns.
Casemiro, Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez, who all missed this month’s internationals, made it onto the bench and did not start due to lack of training time. However, Erik ten Hag still has a number of injury concerns to deal with ahead of Chelsea on Thursday.
While those three players managed to get onto the pitch at Brentford, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof were forced off with knocks. All teams have been impacted by injuries this season but United’s setback woes have been relentless.
