Hoffenheim chief issues update on David Raum's future amid Manchester United transfer links
Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen has refused to rule out the prospect of left-back David Raum leaving the club this summer amid ongoing links connecting him with a move to Manchester United.
The Germany international, who started the 1-1 draw with England earlier this month, has been closely linked with a move to Old Trafford over the last couple of weeks, as United look to strengthen their defensive options. The Reds have made a slow start to the transfer window and are determined to start getting new signings through the door as soon as possible.
Raum, who joined Hoffenheim from Greuther Furth last year, is one of several players currently being linked with a move to United. The German was one of the best left-backs in the Bundesliga last season, racking up an impressive 13 assists in 32 appearances. He also chipped in with three goals.

United are looking to strengthen their options at the back ahead of their season opener against Brighton in six weeks' time, but it is at centre-back where their biggest focus currently lies. However, links connecting Raum, who has also been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund, with a move to Old Trafford are continuing to gather pace.
And for Hoffenheim chief Rosen, the possibility of the defender leaving the Rhein-Neckar-Arena cannot be ruled out. He has confirmed that discussions will be held if a "top club" makes an offer.
"I would prefer to keep him," admitted Rosen, speaking to Sky Sports Germany. "At the end of the day, it depends on what the market looks like and what chance the player has.
