Hibs and Aberdeen do battle at Easter Road tonight with both sides looking to bounce back from defeats, albeit for very different reasons.

Jimmy Thelin's high-flying Reds finally suffered a loss in the Premiership for the first time since last March by going down 2-1 to St Mirren in Paisley. Aberdeen have already shown their ability to bounce back from a disappointing defeat this season when they responded to a 6-0 hammering at the hands of Celtic in the Premier Sports semi-final by beating Dundee 4-1 earlier this month, and they'll be hoping for the same again as they face a Hibs side who are in complete disarray.

A loss to Dundee - where the Hibees lost Jordan Obita to a first half red card - by that same scoreline has left David Gray's men without a victory in their last eight league matches and three points adrift of safety at the bottom of the Premiership table. Easter Road legend Gray is in a desperate bid to keep his job but knows that three points against the Dons will see them leapfrog city rivals Hearts into 11th place.
