Yet while fans may have one eye on the showpiece, the Hoops have plenty of work to do before then as they host Hibs on Saturday before a Champions League clash away to Dinamo Zagreb.

Rodgers has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal and could rotate his squad again for the visit of the Hibees, who earned a morale-boosting three points at Fir Park last Saturday. In truth, David Gray could do without a trip to Parkhead as the struggling Easter Road club attempt to claw their way up the table but the men from Leith will believe they can cause an upset in Glasgow.
