'Here we go' - Manchester United fans all have the same theory after Antony's Instagram post

Manchester United fans bombarded Ajax winger Antony with messages pleading with him to make the move to Old Trafford as he was pictured with his agent in France on Thursday.

The Brazilian has been in fine form for the Dutch giants this season, scoring 12 goals and adding 10 assists to help Ajax to yet another Eredivisie title. His performances have led to speculation that he could be a target for his outgoing manager, with Erik ten Hag set to make the move to United at the end of the campaign.

United will be in the market for new forwards this summer, with interim boss Ralf Rangnick suggesting they will need at least two more quality additions in attack. With plenty of Ten Hag’s past and present players being linked with a move to join him at Old Trafford, Antony could be one of those of interest.

The 22-year-old sparked more speculation on Thursday as he was pictured arriving in France on a plane with his agent, Emerson Santos. Antony’s representative uploaded the picture of the two of them on a plane in Nanterre, a suburb of Paris.

"Side by side if you win to support you if you lose!" Emerson captioned the post. Antony added: "Always together I love you brother."

Never missing an opportunity, United fans were quick to pile on the post as they sent replies urging Antony to join Ten Hag at Old Trafford this summer. The winger was greeted with messages like 'come to Man United', 'Man United here we go' and 'welcome to Manchester United'.

They were far from the only fans to get involved though. With the Brazilian being pictured in the French capital, Paris Saint-Germain fans inevitably got involved, as did Bayern Munich
