Helen Flanagan 'sums up week' after being banned from driving and declaring love for 'only man who'll have heart'
Helen Flanagan has 'summed up' how the past week has panned out for her after it was confirmed she had been banned from driving after failing to tell police who was behind the wheel of her car that was clocked speeding on two separate occasions.
The former Coronation Street star appeared at Wirral Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday (January 15), having been convicted of two counts of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle when required.
The prosecution solicitor said that her Audi was caught travelling at 42mph in a 30mph zone on Scotland Road, near to the junction with Dryden Street, at 1.16pm on June 6 last year. At 11.16am on June 25, the same vehicle was caught travelling at 51mph in a 40mph zone near to junction six of the M57.
She then claimed that her boyfriend, former footballer Robbie Talbot, had responded to the police notices in order to identify himself as the driver.
With the effects of the ban now in force, Helen was seen taking to to her Instagram Story over the weekend and shared a clip of herself inside a taxi with her son Charlie, three. She was heard telling her son "Do not kick that man's seat," before she joked with the taxi driver that he was being 'naughty'.
Then, the former soap star, who shot to fame playing Rosie Webster in ITV's Corrie, later posted a selfie with the cryptic caption: "So in love with my son, the only man who will ever truly have my heart".
Rounding off her weekend, the 34-year-old returned to Instagram with a picture of herself and Charlie, who was pulling a grimacing face for the camera, in the same taxi and alongside it she wrote: "Charlie's face summing up my week," alongside a crying laughing emoji and a red love heart.
